Power is limited. Your crew is exposed. And the next swarm is already on its way. In Stelvyr: Colony Defense, every structure and assignment shapes your chances of surviving the final wave.
Connect production, power, and research into a colony that can sustain itself under pressure.
Place walls, turrets, mines, and orbital weapons. Adapt your defenses to the threats approaching from every direction.
Assign engineers, gunners, scientists, and xenobiologists. Their work takes them into the field, and into danger.
Playing Stelvyr: Colony Defense
Stelvyr: Colony Defense puts you in command of a settlement on a hostile planetary frontier. Expansion and survival depend on the same resources: the minerals you produce, the power you distribute, and the people you send into the field. A larger colony gives you more options, but it also creates more ground to defend.
Production, research and defense compete for a limited power supply. Decide when to invest in the colony’s economy and when to strengthen the perimeter. A new structure needs more than an empty building site: it needs enough power and crew to become part of a working settlement.
Engineers, gunners, scientists and xenobiologists have jobs beyond a management screen. Your specialists travel to assignments, repair damaged systems and rescue casualties. Sending workers out to restore essential infrastructure can keep the colony alive, but exposes the people you need for the next wave.
Create defensive lines with walls, gates, turrets and mines, then support them with orbital weapons. Enemy attacks can come from several directions, and different alien species threaten different parts of the colony. Some put pressure on fortifications; others target power or support nearby attackers.
Watch the radar and prepare for the approach rather than treating every wave alike. A successful defense might require more firepower, a repair crew in the right place, or a change to the power grid. Orbital conditions and mission events add new problems while the colony is already under pressure.
The single-player campaign spans nine operations with different starting conditions, objectives and signature threats. Research choices change what your colony can produce and how it fights, while each operation asks you to reconsider the balance between growth and protection.
Three difficulty levels let you choose the pressure. Cadet gives you room to learn and experiment. Commander puts expansion, staffing and research under sustained strain. Veteran demands careful decisions with tighter resources and more dangerous enemies.
